A new addition to our technical support – Welcome, Mikael!

Our team gained a new member in February when Mikael Mether joined our technical support. Mikael has now completed his onboarding, making this the perfect moment to officially introduce him to you as well. Going forward, Mikael’s role will involve supporting our customers in various situations related to using our services. He helps ensure that our customers receive assistance quickly whenever they need it.

Mikael’s path into the IT field was not entirely straightforward. He recalls that at one point he also considered a career as a sports instructor, as exercise and sports have been part of his life since childhood. He even has a competitive sports background: his trophy cabinet includes a Finnish Championship gold medal — read on to find out in which sport!

Ultimately, his interest in information technology and electronics led him to pursue studies in ICT. So far, he has gained work experience at major IT companies CGI and Telia, where he worked in roles including incident management. At Sympa, Mikael worked in customer support in a similar role to the one he now holds with us.

Once again, a very warm welcome to the team, Mikael!
